Application & Admission: Short Courses
Hundreds of young, talented students, researchers and health professionals from around the world have preceded you over the past years. Appreciating the international and challenging research and study environment Nihes has to offer.
Please select the appropriate form in order to start your online application:
- All applicants who do not fall into either of the three categories below.
- Registration for Erasmus MC PhD candidates
e.g. OiO, (guest) researcher with an (international) grant, researcher/MD, junior researcher, research assistant.
- Participants from a Nihes partner
Applicants working at Erasmus MC (except Erasmus MC PhD candidates) or one of the other institutes participating in or affiliated with Nihes who are NOT enrolled in a Nihes degree programme.
- 'Keuzevak' students
Masters' students in the Netherlands registering for one or more short courses which should count as 'keuzevak' towards their Dutch Master’s degree. Please read the instructions first!

Application deadline
Two weeks before the start of the course, unless stated otherwise.
Cancellation policy
Please note that if you cannot attend the course(s) you enrolled for, the Netherlands Institute for Health Sciences will charge you with:
- €50 for all cancellations made more than 22 days before the start of the course,
- 50% of the course fee for cancellations between 21 to 10 days before the start of the course,
- 100% of the course fee for cancellations within 10 days before the start of the course.
