Application procedure for Nihes PhD candidates

For those who are working towards a PhD degree at one of the institutes participating in or affiliated with the Netherlands Institute for Health Sciences, a short cut application procedure exists:

1) Select the specialization of the one-year, full-time Master of Science programme in Health Sciences of your choice

2) Contact the Nihes Office to make an appointment

3) Complete the online application form

• a list of educational institutes attended + with corresponding dates;
• degree(s) obtained or expected to obtain;
• work experience + corresponding dates of employment for each position held;
• research experience + a complete list of publications;
• all other relevant information.

4) Prepare your application package

• A print-out of the online application form, completely filled out and signed.
• A copy of your extensive curriculum vitae.
• A copy of your personal course schedule as determined in consultation with Mrs Vrakking, signed by yourself and your tutor/supervisor/promotor.
• Official transcripts of diplomas and reports (lists of grades) translated into English and with original stamp and/or certification from the institute concerned. (A Dutch copy of the diploma is also allowed if the originals can be shown to the NIHES programme coordinator)
• A passport photograph.
