Swiss Paraplegic Research is a university-affiliated research institution committed to enhancing the functioning and quality of life of persons with spinal cord injury. SPF was accredited by the Swiss government in 2008.

In 2009 it will establish two international research platforms: a joint Seminar in Health Sciences and Health Policy in collaboration with the University of Lucerne and SwiSCI, a clinical and community-based spinal cord injury cohort study. Closing deadline for applications or nominations is April 30.
