Admission requirements for Master students and Health professionals
In order to be eligible for the one-year (full-time or part-time) Master of Science programme of the Netherlands Institute for Health Sciences, you should fit each of the following criteria:
- You have a Bachelor's degree or a relevant Master's degree from a school of medicine, dentistry or veterinary medicine.
- You are a graduate from a discipline related to clinical medicine and public health (health sciences, nutrition, biology, pharmacy, environmental sciences, social sciences, economics, etc.).
- You have relevant research experience and you already authored several scientific publications. If you are applying for Nihes Summer School, your research experience should be substantial and you should have published a considerable number of scientific publications.
- You have a good working command of the English language, both oral and written.
The above admission requirements apply to the Master of Science in Health Sciences. Both the one-year, full-time and two-year, part-time(*) versions, as well as Nihes Summer School.

(*) Please note that applicants who need a visa to enter the Netherlands are not eligible for the two-year, part-time Master of Science in Health Sciences. This was decided by the Dutch Immigration and Naturalization Service in February 2006.
