Research period

The research training starts with formulating a research question and writing a research proposal. This proposal should include, among other things, the research objectives, the study design, the data-collection and the data-analysis procedure, and your time schedule. The research topic you choose, will determine the department or research group you will be assigned to and where you will be carrying out your research project.

Research period

In January, you will start working on your research project after approval of your proposal by your personal tutor. This tutor is a senior staff members at one of the departments/research groups participating in Nihes who will supervise you during your research period; you will write a scientific paper under his or her guidance.
