If you already have prior research experience and at least a university Master’s degree in a discipline related to clinical medicine and public health, consider our one-year, full-time Master of Science programme in Health Sciences (70 ECTS). The programme is NVAO accredited (*) and has four specializations: Epidemiology, Clinical Epidemiology, Genetic Epidemiology, and Public Health.
It is possible to attend the programmes part-time as well, enabling you to combine your studies with work. You may spread the curriculum over two years(*) or, in case of Epidemiology, Clinical Epidemiology and Genetic Epidemiology, over three consecutive summers plus two winter/spring sessions: Nihes Summer School.
You will be able to strenghten your theoretical, methodological and statistical knowledge and expertise of designing and implementing a research project. And it will enhance your professional career as a researcher, executive or advisor in, for example, public health, clinical medicine, drug research and health-policy development.
Successful completion of the programme leads to the award of a Master of Science in Health Sciences degree by the Erasmus University Rotterdam.
