Research training for Bachelor graduates

If you have a university Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to clinical medicine and public health, but no research experience, consider our two-year, full-time Master of Science programme in Health Sciences (known until 1 September 2010 as Clinical Epidemiology), (120 ECTS). The programme is NVAO accredited (*) and has four specializations: Epidemiology, Clinical Epidemiology, Genetic Epidemiology, and Public Health.

In two years, you will be provided with a solid theoretical, methodological and statistical basis for designing and implementing a research project and teach you how to best publish your results. You will be prepared for a research, executive or advisory position in public health, clinical medicine, drug research or health-policy development.

Successful completion of the programme leads to the award of a Master of Science degree by the Erasmus University Rotterdam.

Applicants from outside de European Union, should take into account that, upon admission, they should have access to sufficient financial means to settle the annual tuition fee and to cover the costs for subsistence. That is about € 43,000 in total for this two-year programme.
